The advent of online social networks is one of the most exciting events of this decade. Online social networks are communities of people who share interests and activities or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. This article mainly focuses on the use and awareness of social network tools among the research scholars of Mangalore University. Many such social networks are extremely rich in content and data.
