Information seeking behaviour is important part of user studies, library staff have aware of users’ information requirements as well as information gathering habits in digital environment, soas toenablethem toprovide better services. The aim of the Present study was to find the information gathering habits of students and teachers of engineering college under study. The structure questionnaire has designed based on the objectives was circulated to collect the needed information. The study examine the several aspects of demographic factors of the respondents, academic background of the users, general information about the library, awareness and use of information resources, searching methods and problem faced by the users in accessing of information. Finally the study concluded that users of engineering college library have better information searching skills in digital environment.
